When we hear about the Barrio de Salamanca, the first image that comes to mind is the one related to luxury and exclusivity. Its stores and shops, restaurants and other fashionable sites stand out in the middle of Madrid's Golden Mile. Historical, Representative buildings, many of them were born and gave shelter to a multitude of illustrious personages of the history and the Spanish social life of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
